Jeff Cadiz serves as a dedicated and dynamic member of the City of Centennial’s leadership team. With a career spanning nearly two decades in public service, Jeff has a diverse work experience in finance and management roles.

Jeff currently serves as the Finance Director for the City of Centennial bringing financial management experience and a steadfast commitment to fiscal responsibility and transparency. In his role, Jeff oversees all financial operations, ensuring the city’s resources are managed efficiently and effectively to support the community’s needs and long-term goals.

Since joining the City of Centennial, Jeff has been a pivotal figure in guiding the city through significant financial decisions, policies and procedures. He has implemented robust financial practices that have strengthened the city’s financial position, promoted transparency, and enhanced public trust. Jeff’s strategic initiatives have included comprehensive biennial budget planning, investment in essential infrastructure, and prudent fiscal policies that ensure long-term sustainability. Jeff’s dedication to community engagement ensures that the city’s financial strategies align with the needs of its citizens and priorities of the Centennial City Council.

Jeff holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Northern Colorado. Additionally, Jeff obtained a certification as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).

Beyond his professional achievements, Jeff is actively involved in professional organizations and continuing education in the field of public finance. He is a member of the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA), the Colorado Government Finance Officers Association (CGFOA), and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
Outside of his professional role, Jeff enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife Beth and being involved in their three son’s (Jayden, Colton and Cameron) sports activities.
