Heather Morgan, CPA, is a seasoned financial leader specializing in public and non-profit fiscal management. With over two decades of comprehensive experience, she has a distinguished track record of optimizing financial performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and implementing effective financial controls for organizations of varying sizes and structures.

As the former Budgeting and Financial Analysis Manager for the Highlands Ranch Metro District and Highlands Ranch Water and Sanitation District, Heather was directly involved in the full scope of financial planning, budget oversight, and strategic analysis that underpinned the organizations’ stability and growth.

Her career foundation includes key roles as Controller for Parker Water, a dynamic progression through finance and accounting roles at the Regional Transportation District (RTD), and as an Auditor for the State of Colorado. She began her professional journey in the private sector at Wells Fargo and later supported the mission of a local non-profit as an accounting manager.

A credentialed professional, Heather earned her CPA license in 2015 after completing her Master’s in Accounting from the Metropolitan State University of Denver and Bachelor’s in Political Science from the University of Colorado.

As a Colorado native with deep roots in the state, Heather is committed to her community both professionally and personally. When not focused on serving her clients, she enjoys spending time with her amazing partner and three step-children, managing her two rambunctious dogs, and fueling her lifelong passion for world travel.
