Doug is the Controller for the City of Thornton. He has served as a City Finance Director/Chief Financial Officer for over 23 years. Doug is a licensed CPA and has held his CPA for over 27 years. He has served on the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) of the U.S. and Canada’s Budget and Fiscal Policy Committee for four years and currently services on the Committee of Retirement Benefits Administration (CORBA). Doug has managed municipal investment portfolios ranging from $75 million to $130 million for over 23 years.
