Barry Howsden

Chief Operating Officer

Barry Howsden is a seasoned financial services executive with nearly three decades of experience in compliance, operations, fund accounting, and client servicing within the investment management industry.

Most recently, Barry served as Director of Compliance at Public Trust Advisors, LLC, following over a decade as the firm’s Chief Compliance Officer and Director of Operations. As a founding team member, he was instrumental in the firm’s launch, overseeing SEC registration, establishing comprehensive compliance frameworks, and implementing key operational and accounting systems.

Earlier in his career, Barry served as Vice President at Cutwater Asset Management (formerly MBIA Asset Management), where he oversaw LGIP accounting, client services, and transfer agency operations.  He held progressive leadership roles at Invesco Ltd., managing teams responsible for daily mutual fund accounting, NAV calculations, and portfolio reconciliations for dozens of funds.

Barry is a Colorado native who holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Accounting and Finance from Colorado State University and previously held the Investment Adviser Certified Compliance Professional (IACCP) certification.
